Restoration - Business Development Manager

McKinney, TX

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced restoration professional ready to take the next step
into business leadership and growth. The Business Development Manager will assist day-to-day
operations while serving as a primary driver of revenue, profitability, customer
relationships, and team performance.

This role is ideal for a self-driven, organized, business-minded restoration professional
who understands projects, estimating, production, insurance, and customer
service—and is ready to leverage that experience to build a business rather than
simply manage jobs.

Key Responsibilities

 Drive business development through relationships with plumbers, insurance
agents, adjusters, property managers, real estate professionals, and
commercial accounts.
 Develop new referral sources and increase business from existing relationships.
 Conduct regular territory marketing, sales calls, presentations, lunches,
networking, and industry events.
 Track leads, relationships, opportunities, and results using CRM and company
technology.
 Lead and hold accountable Estimators, Project Managers, Production,
Administration, and Sales/Marketing personnel.
 Oversee projects from assignment through completion, ensuring quality,
customer satisfaction, schedule, and profitability.
 Review scopes, estimates, change orders, job costs, and project performance.
 Manage office P&L, budgets, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
 Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing employees.
 Identify operational problems and implement solutions that improve efficiency
and profitability.
 Maintain compliance with company policies, applicable regulations, and industry
standards.
 Resolve significant customer issues and protect key customer and referral
relationships.
 Provide ownership with clear reporting on revenue, pipeline, profitability,
operational performance, and growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For

 3+ years of restoration industry experience; project management, or operations
experience preferred.
 Strong understanding of water, mold, fire, and/or reconstruction processes.
 Proven ability to develop relationships and generate business.
 Strong business and financial judgment.
 Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Comfortable leading people and coordinating multiple departments.
 Technology savvy; CRM and Xactimate experience strongly preferred, but not required.
 IICRC certifications and insurance industry experience are a plus.
 Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the service area.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus a highly incentive-driven compensation package tied
to measurable business growth and profitability.

High-performing candidates will have a realistic opportunity to earn $100,000+ in
total compensation during Year One and then sky in the limit.
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
