1-800 WATER DAMAGE of NE TX & NW LA is seeking a reliable, motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Shreveport office (71109). We provide emergency water, fire, and property restoration services, so our environment is fast-paced and customer-focused.
We are looking for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable handling multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.
Schedule
- Full-time preferred
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Minimal weekend involvement may occasionally be required due to emergency operations
Pay & Benefits
- $15–$19 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid training provided
- Paid holidays after 90 days (company-approved holidays)
- PTO available after first full year of employment
- Performance-based bonuses available
- No healthcare or retirement plan currently offered
Primary Responsibilities
- Answering phones and assisting customers
- Supporting dispatch operations
- Working with TPA coordinators in Texas and Louisiana
- QuickBooks tasks including invoicing, categorization, payroll assistance, and financial record management
- Accounts receivable and collections follow-up
- Document organization and file management
- Customer communication and job coordination
- Occasional trips to UPS, FedEx, or USPS as needed
Required Qualifications
- QuickBooks proficiency is REQUIRED. Applicants without QuickBooks experience will not be considered.
- Strong customer service and phone communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter and quick learner
- Organized and dependable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Experience
- Payroll experience preferred (training available)
- Experience with Google Sheets and office software (training available)
- Experience in restoration, construction, or service industry offices is a plus
