Job Summary
This is a lead carpenter position. A successful candidate will be able to measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials. Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes. Inspect and replace damaged drywall or other structures and fixtures
Responsibilities
- Secure and estimate construction projects
- Tape, float, and texture without supervision
- Remove and replace drywall
- Assign the proper subcontractor to the job
- Install base, door, and ceiling trim
- Oversee and manage construction projects
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service/Communication skills - You will interact with customers on a daily basis.
- A preferred background in residential construction
- Computer estimation skills as well as proficient with Microsoft products. (Xactimate knowledge preferred.)
- Insurance knowledge helpful, but not required.
- Must be able to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel – reach with hands & arms and talk or hear.
- Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds.

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
